hi all
i recently wrote a script that implements a puzzle. the interface
mostly consists of a bunch of colored disks on a tkinter canvas. the
problem is that the disks change their colors in ways other than the
way they're supposed to. it certainly isn't just a bug in my script,
since i can sometimes change the color of certain disks just by taking
focus off of the window and then bringing it back again! does this
sound like some known...

and Tkinter. The one problem I'm having is adding basic keyboard
support to my application, specifically binding command-q so that it
quits the application (this is standard behavior for almost every mac
application, the equivalent of alt-f4 on windows). Has anyone

Having a problem with "compiling" a Tkinter/python program using
py2exe (and pyinstaller, for that matter)...
I have several dialogs that are derived from the tkSimpleDialog.Dialog
class. These work just fine if run through the interpreter. When I
"compile" this with py2exe, I don't see any errors, and when I execute
the resulting program, it "appears" to work fine until I invoke one of
the derived dialogs.

so my little calculator works perfectly now. just having some trouble
with the layout.
this whole tkinter-thing seems to be more tricky than it should be.
how can i make the 4 column of buttons have the same distance and
size between them as the other 3 columns?
and how can i make the top entry end where the 2nd row entry
ends(meaning the top entry will be longer)?
why are the 4th row split from the others? hard to fix the problems...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
