moving mouse?

I'm implementing a "self-tutorial" into my app,
and wondering if there's a way of moving a mouse
cursor on command? probably using sys,os modules?

sys doesn't mean [operating] system
it's completely Python related,
the intepreter itself
you can use it to see how many referenced does a object
like 1 have .. or check the current recusrion depth .. or
see the encoding of stdin, stdout
only such things

os module is operating system related
it provides many lowlevel functions .. os.open etc

I dont know of a module which provides things you are looking for

Regards, Daniel

Naturally, you can always implement a simulation of this yourself in
most GUI tools you would be using. I guess the complexity, thoroughness
of your tutorial may mean that its unfeasable, business wise, but
technologically it doesn't seem like rocket science...

Hello! If I understand correctly, MouseMove event is triggered when the mouse moves (ie when point changes). I, however, found out that it's triggered even if the mouse is not moving. What I did was: In an empty form, I set the Form1.Text to "0" and added the following code for Form1.MouseMove event.

If I move the mouse cursor over a control and stop moving I get a MouseHover event. If I then move the cursor while staying within the control and then stop moving I do not get another MouseHover event. To get a Mousehover I must leave and reenter the control. I'd like to get an event each time the cursor stops moving.

How do you programmatically start moving a SDI winform? Here's the issue: I've got a form as part of a tabbed MDI set, and I wrote it so that a user can "tear" the form off of the MDI by dragging on the tabbed MDI tab -- that works great - I make it SDI and put the form right underneath the current mouse position ... I'd just to let the user continue moving the form - they already have the left mouse down, so I want to make the new SDI...

I am trying to find how windows translate the input from a HID device to an actual windows message; specifically, the mouse. I am trying to figure out how when the mouse moves the process windows takes in order to ensure all windows receive the notification that the mouse moved and how windows moves the mouse cursor. What process handles the movement of the mouse cursor and at what point does windows move the mouse cursor vs posting the...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
