Thanks to everybody for all your help and advice. It seems Linux is
going to HAVE to be the next step, but while I know sod all about it, I
have enlisted the help of a colleague to assist with that side of

I am using this regex.

RegexOptions.IgnoreCase);
it should find everything between parenthesis that have some numbers
onyl then a forward slash then some numbers. For some reason I am not
getting that. It won't work at all in 2.0

would like the dot(.) in the filename only to appear once. My question is it
possible to allow one instance of character but not two or more?
example

My.file.doc = not good

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
