Access MDB Schema Import Tool?

Is there a tool that allows the tables and relationships
of an Access database to be moved into postgresql (7.4.5)?

Sorry if this has been asked before. There also may be
new tools that have recently come out.

If you have access to Windows, use Access and ODBC to copy data out.
Otherwise the only project I know of is:
http://mdbtools.sourceforge.net/

I'm not sure how much development work there's been, but I have used it
in the past when booting a Windows machine wasn't convenient.

Hi, One of my clients has the following situation. They use Access DB for data update etc. some business functions while they also want to view the Access data quickly and more efficiently in SQL Server 2000. Huge Access db with over 100 user tables, over 60 MB data. The DTS package that comes with SQL Server 2000 seems pretty "messy" in the sense that it assumes that one needs to do one time import only or accurately it does not...

I have a "library" schema with the simple and complex types I commonly use in other schemas and then several other schemas, maybe created by other developers, that import/include the library schema. And then other schemas can extend it..... The classes created by XSD really help to make the development faster and easier. I really would like to use XSD.exe tool as much as possible and to avoid editing the classes defined by the tool. ...

Helpful folks, Most of my previous experience with DB2 was on s390 mainframe systems and the optimizer on this platform always seemed very predictable and consistent. Since moving to a WinNT/UDB 7.2 environment, the choices the optimizer makes often seem flaky. But this last example really floored me. I was hoping someone could explain why I get worse response time when the optimizer uses two indexes, than when it uses one. Some context:

Hello, I am a newbie to Oracle databases.... We have a visualization front-end tool connected to an Oracle back-end database on a Tru64 UNIX server. We also have clients with MS access databases who would like to share their data using this visualization tool but do not want to import their data into the Oracle server back-end.

Hi, Newbie question #2 - hope that's OK! I'm trying to create a WSDL file using one or more XSD schema files. While WSDL.exe doesn't seem to support the XSD "import" function, if I include a single huge XSD schema file on the command line input to WSDL.exe, I can essentially achieve the desired result. (So, first question: is it true that WSDL.exe does not support *any* kind of <wsdl:import ...> or <xsd:import...> function?)

How will Access fair in a year? Two years? .... The new version of Access seems to service non programmers as a wizard interface to quickly create databases via a fancy wizard. Furthermore, why would you even continue to use Access as a backend when you have a much superior option in SQL express? What about as a future front-end development tool? Let's get serious. Microsoft continues to publish numerous articles and videos on how you...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
