Hi,
One of my clients has the following situation. They use Access DB for
data update etc. some business functions while they also want to view
the Access data quickly and more efficiently in SQL Server 2000. Huge
Access db with over 100 user tables, over 60 MB data.
The DTS package that comes with SQL Server 2000 seems pretty "messy"
in the sense that it assumes that one needs to do one time import only
or accurately it does not...

I have a "library" schema with the simple and complex types I commonly use
in other schemas and then several other schemas, maybe created by other
developers, that import/include the library schema. And then other schemas
can extend it.....
The classes created by XSD really help to make the development faster and
easier. I really would like to use XSD.exe tool as much as possible and to
avoid editing the classes defined by the tool.

I use a BulkLoad to import file.xml to my base MS Server 2000.
To import this xml file I need schema file. Mayby you know how to do this
file mechanicy f.g. mayby somebody have some script in .net who generate
this schema.

Helpful folks,
Most of my previous experience with DB2 was on s390 mainframe systems
and the optimizer on this platform always seemed very predictable and
consistent. Since moving to a WinNT/UDB 7.2 environment, the choices
the optimizer makes often seem flaky. But this last example really
floored me. I was hoping someone could explain why I get worse
response time when the optimizer uses two indexes, than when it uses

Newbie question #2 - hope that's OK!
I'm trying to create a WSDL file using one or more XSD schema files. While
WSDL.exe doesn't seem to support the XSD "import" function, if I include a
single huge XSD schema file on the command line input to WSDL.exe, I can
essentially achieve the desired result. (So, first question: is it true that
WSDL.exe does not support *any* kind of <wsdl:import ...> or <xsd:import...>
function?)

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
