SOLVED: cannot access or delete view

I had tomatoes on my eyes. I wrote laufverke but meant laufwerke.

Sorry.

Subject: cannot access or delete view

Hi all,

I installed PostgreSQL 7.4.2 from backports.org and all went fine. Then
I did as user postgres:

create view v_laufverke
as
select
distinct
bg.mandant as v_mandant,
bg.benutzer as v_benutzer,
l.laufwerk as v_laufwerk,
l.pfad as v_pfad,
l.benutzer as v_login_benutze r,
l.kennwort as v_login_kennwor t
from
laufwerk l,
laufwerk_in_gru ppe lg,
benutzer_in_gru ppe bg
where
l.mandant = lg.mandant and
l.mandant = bg.mandant and
l.laufwerk = lg.laufwerk and
lg.gruppe = bg.gruppe and
bg.mandant = lower('201') and
bg.benutzer = lower('Marzen') ;
But "select * from v_laufwerke" gives "FEHLER: Relation >>v_laufwerke <<
existiert nicht" (ERROR: Relation v_laufwerke doesn't exist). Dropping
fails as well although it seems to be there:

login=# \dv
List of relations
Schema | Name | Type | Owner --------+-------------+------+----------
public | v_laufverke | view | postgres
(1 row)

\dv v_laufwerke returns "No matching relations found." (in english).

Did I miss something?

I have a database in Access 2002 but I am unable to view code or write any modules when logged in with a limited user account using Windows XP, service pack 2 -- no problems when logging in as administrator, -- any ideas on how a limited user on Windows XP can access code and modules in Access 2002? Thank you very much.

Using Access 2002. I have imported one form and two modules from another database, in order to compare code. Having finished the comparison, I cannot delete them. When I press 'Delete', I get a message asking for confirmation 'Do you want to permanently delete etc', I respond 'Yes' but the object remains. No error message is generated. If I try to open the object in design view, I get a message:

I have a DataGrid that is configured to use the Edit/Update/Cancel concept correctly. My grid shows values from 5 database fields. I only need to update that last 4 fields. The last field is a Yes/No value in Access. Using the OleDbCommand, if I do not consider the Yes/No field, the ExecuteNonQuery command, using my UPDATE SQL statement, updates the record correctly. However, if I put the Yes/No field into the mix, ExecuteNonQuery...

I'm getting this exception when trying to delete a file: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "d:\root\sigma\anexos\" is denied. the thing is that i can save files in this folder, but cannot delete. I enabled the advanced folder security in XP, gave full access to ASPNET and IUSR_MACHINENAME users to this folder. Finally I gave full access to "All" user and tried impersonating.... no sucess..

Hi All, I generated a WebForm and created a Virtual Directory for it IIS. But I got an error message (shown below) saying something like my app lacked appropriate privileges. David Wang replied to an earlier question about this issue, and he informed me that I needed to include my UserID in the "VS Developers" group in order to WebForm apps running under my account capable of accessing \\server\wwwroot$.

We are running an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL 7 back end. Our network guy is upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has licenses for Office Pro 2002, he wants to upgrade to that. I've been saying that we need to upgrade to Access 2003, not 2002, even if Office is kept at 2002. We are also looking to do a fair amount of...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
