Hi all,
Hoping someone can help us with this strange Innodb problem. At about
5:15 AM 2/2/04 (this morning), our slave server stopped accepting
connections. The machine was pingable, but you could not SSH into the
machine.
We had to manually reboot the machine, and restart the slave. Looking
in the error file we found this:

I am having a blocking problem with a spid executing a stored
procedure that does no updates. When I look at the locks the blocking
spid has, some of them have lock mode "IS". Looking in BOL, I see "S"
is shared, but I don't see "IS". Can anyone tell me what lock mode
"IS" is?
And how could a stored procedure that does no updates be guilty of

Hello all,
we are running a delphi application with DB2 V8.01 which is causing
deadlocks when rows are being inserted into a table. Attaching the
Event Monitor Log (DEADLOCKS WITH DETAILS) here. From the log it looks
like the problem happens when 2 threads insert 1 record each in the
same table and then try to aquire a NS (Next Key Share)
lock on the record inserterd by the other thread.

Folks,
We have an SQL statement that was coded in an application many years ago
(starting with DB V2 I think). When I upgraded to UDB 8.2, the optimizer
does not use optimal path to access the data.
It takes about 4 minutes to get the data. In previous versions it was
instantaneous.
What do I need to do to increase the performance?

Hi all.
I have an ArrayList and
sometimes while enumerating through, i get an
exception because another thread has added to the ArrayList.
To solve this problem, i lock the enumeration,
passing the ArrayList instance to the lock.
But i still get the same exception.

Hi All,
i am using mssql 2005 and i am facing a strange problem.
i have two databases A , B.When i try to insert one row in A from my application it is inserting the row but after that it is giving page not found exception when i try to retrieve the data to display form the same table.
When i do the same operation on B from my applciation it is not throwing any error.
