Hi,
I am trying to get the meta data of a sequence that I created out from
the system catalogs, so that I can reconstruct the SQL Statement. I
need this for pre and post PG 7.3 ... or either. I have read through
the documentation and the past postings and can't seem to find any

It may be me, or it may be the Linux implementation of XML Catalogs on
slackware. Whichever, please shed some light on this XML Catalog problem.
When using the --catalogs option, xmllint resolves all system entities
to local copies. No problem, for example:

I've been wandering around the results of numerous googles for several
hours without reaching a conclusive solution, so I'm dipping a tentative
toe back in ciwah...
I've been persuaded here in the past that serving xhtml is a bad thing (tm).
I want the extra constraints xhtml imposes.
It has been suggested before to create a DTD which requires these &
includes all the requirements of HTML 4.01 & validate against that.

Hi everybody, can anyone tell me if there's a way to retrieve the select
instruction executed from the catalogs, or maybe via some structure in a
trigger?
The reason is that i have some selects constructed on-the-fly (just part of
it) and i want to save that in a table in order to know what are the most
used for optimizing them.

Hi Folks
I have a program that was writing for me back in 1992 in Basic.
This programs has work great for me until the printer part of it will not
work with windows defeault printer. (i.e. usb or something not in a file)
Question is a way to have this old basic program update to something in the
21 century. The person who wrote the basic program has pass away.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
