How could i retrieve ipad1 hardware information?

I am working on a web application in php for ipad. I need to retrieve the ipad's unique identifier programmatically.

Is there any way i could check the unique identifier of an ipad in the php application.

I have no idea about ipad, i dont have it either......

in general server has nothing to do with client.

If a user simply send

GET / HTTP/1.0\r\n
 

then http server will reply. and as far I know, Apache server dont send any request to client either, it always reply. But use this function apache_request_headers you will get all the header sent by application client. you might get the identifier only if client send it.

May be Javascript can, or may be it is possible to do it with Java..
