PHP BB Security Check

Hi, i have recently installed PHP BB3.....however an idiot i used to work with constantly hacks into it......im no php expert and neither is he so it cant be anything too complicated.....if someone could have a look at this address for me and see if i have forgotten to do something which is compromising the security of the forum.

i had to delete all posts etc....because he was putting slanderous comments about me.

Like i say im not a programmer but i know some basic php stuff....i set everything up using the automatic installer...the only thing that it alerted me to is that php register globals was off....i added a htaccess file and i THINK i changed it...any advice would be much appreciated as im hoping to set up some more php based applications soon.

heres the address www.net-fusion.co.uk/forum

cheers.

Heya, ukfusion. Welcome to TSDN!

Odd... phpbb3 doesn't need register_globals... unless you're working with an earlier release candidate, perhaps?

Try upgrading to the latest version (I think they're up to RC7 by now).

What specifically is the problem? Is he logging in as an admin and changing post text? Perhaps he guessed or harvested an admin password.
