Hello All,
I'ma having trouble getting GetCurrentProcess() to work properly.
What I'm trying to accomplish is list all running processes. But my
call get GetProcesses() hangs.
While testing things out I found that the tiny program listed below
hangs as well.
Am I missing something?

I apologize in advance for cross-posting, but I have noted that others
have experienced similar issues and was hoping that someone could
help.
Briefly, I am working on an ASP.NET content management application

I have an ASP.NET website in which if a certain button is clicked, it
will enumerate the scheduled tasks on a certain server. I use psexec to
call "schtasks /query /fo list" on a remote server and this runs fine.
However, when I tack on a /v switch to the end of that, the site hangs
up completely, we start getting HTTP 403.9 errors (with only...

I have created an app that makes use of the FolderBrowserDialog.
Upon building the app, installing and running it, and invoking the form
using the dialog, it hangs upon folder selection and goes "not responding"
Upon debugging, it hangs as well upon executing the line that extracts the
selected folder without further explanation. All looks...

I am using MS Visual C++ 6.0 on Windows XP 5.1 (SP2).
I am not sure if this is a C, C++ or MS issue but fscanf has been
randomly hanging on me. I make the call hundreds, if not thousands,
of times but it hangs in different places with the same data. The
offending code follows.
ReadFile(char *csFileName)
{
float fFloat1, fFloat2;

Hello,
I have a weird problem. When I open more than one instances of a form
as MDI children of a main form, an then try to close one of the child
forms, application hangs. If I try to do Debug-->Break All, debug
stops at the end of Dispose() function for the form.
Any idea what is going on.
Your help is highly appreciated.

Hello All,
We have around 3 windows services written in C#. We use them to process files
from a folder into database and further to process the data into various SQL

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
