PHP as image

When I used free counters from other sites they all were just <img src=http://somsite.com/freecounter.php?username=TheMadMidget>.
I'm wondering how to use php like that, not the username part, but the appearing as an image and can be used in a <img> tag.
Also, I'm trying to do the same thing with .asx files through an <embed> tag.

Hopefully that will help. I did get some results by doing include('image.jpg'); but it only worked on really small image files, but it did work for all the .asx files I've tryed so far, about 30-40.

But, I wonder what exactly do you want to ask? What is .asx file? Does it supported by your PHP server?

.asx is a streaming media format.

I bypassed that link, that helps alot, but I have a few questions. One, how do I make it more that one image, like the counter? Two, how do I center the text?
