Querying Multiple Sites using Google API

Does anyone know of a script which allows you to get search results
from multiple (12) web sites using Google's API, I've chosen to use
NuSOAP rather than the PEAR SOAP class, for no particular reason.

If my understanding is correct, the only way to do it is to run 12
searches with a different "site:" argument. Whether you use the API or
not, you can either search the Web or specify one and only one site
using the "site:" argument.
