Login System using PHP/mySQL

I am sure that people have asked this sort of question 100 times
before, but I cant find anything from recent posts... I would like to
develop a login for a php/mySQL based system which I am developing.

Can anyone recommened a good site/tutorial which will talk me through
how to do this?

Thanks.
