Problem installing php with mysql etc

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am trying to install ph
so that i can learn the code. So far i havent had any problem
installing apache. However when i try to get mysql to run wit
apache and php the windows services gives an error upon startin
apache. Something lik

error module not found. php_mysql.dll does not exist

The only problem is it does exist. I moved the file and changed th
paths to point to it but nothing seems to work. Im beginning t
think it is a Windows Services error and nothing to do with th
apache/php files. Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Nic

What version of PHP? Setting up the MySQL extension is different between PHP4
and PHP5.

If you're on PHP4, modify your PATH environment variable so it includes the
'dlls' directory in your PHP installation. For PHP5, include the PHP directory
itself, since those bundled support DLLs have moved up a directory level.

I stuggled with some components I downloaded too. Then I found EasyPHP:
http://www.easyphp.org/. Instantly after installing I had a PHP, Apache
and MySQL installation that all worked together and I could start
learning PHP immediately. Very reccomended.

>Description: I've recently compiled mysql 4.0.14 on redhat 8.0. The installation fails, however, when running mysql_install_db. I've attached a transcript below. I gather from searching the 'net that this isn't an entirely unusual thing to happen, and is likely the result of some misconfiguration on my part, or perhaps a version incompatability with my libc. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any concrete suggestions on how to get past it.

Hi, I am facing the build problem while installing the DBD-MySql perl module (ver 2.9008) using both GCC and CC compilers in HP-UX machine. For the Build using GCC, the compiler error is produced due to the unknown GCC compiler option "+DAportable". For the Build using CC, the preprocessor error is produced due to the recursive declration of macro "PerlIO" in perlio.h file.

Hello everyone: Recently, I decided to upgrade to PHP 5.2.0. I have C:\php5 in the Windows XP PATH, so upgrading is quite painless; just unzip new release, and restart Apache! Usually it goes off without a hitch, but I noticed that phpMyAdmin was not able to utilize the MySQLi library (which was working with my last 5.1.x release). As I was looking through php_info(), I noticed that MySQLi didn't even load. However, when I restarted...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
