Does anyone have working samples of the Google AdWords API in use with the native SOAP functionality of PHP5? Here is Google's sample script for usage with nuSoap, which works (but I'd like to switch to PHP5/native functionality): http://www.google.com/apis/adwords/samples/php/keywordEstimateDemo.php.txt

I'm going to be collecting lots (a few thousand) email addys. Each of these people will be interested in recieving mail on one or more topics, with an open ended and growing number of topics. Mailman with a BD application behing it might be ideal as it would let users add and delete themselves and each topic would have it's own email list...

I have already used the "text on image" capability of GD but it doesn't look real enough. Does anyone here knows about an exitising applications like the one I need or can recommend a (free) graphic...

Just wondering, is there anything fundamentally that keeps php from being "distributed?" By that I just mean, run on many computers... Usually the only communication between threads is through the database anyway right (not through shared objects)? I'm thinking you could run it on multiple computers, using the same filesystem, and there...

Yes, the online documentation is EXcellent! So I will be using the php.exe in command line mode VERY SOON! I will readily pick up on ALL of the wonderful ways to parse an input file and send output to the DOS console or to a file. This is a special but *utterly* rudimentary desired configuring of PHP package. I downloaded the 7MB PHP...

I have an RH9 Linux PHP 4.2.2 web page that I need to call a Bash file under the context of root and do the wget command to download a file, clobbering the previous download of this same filename. It's bombing without leaving any trace. I tried introducing all manner of chmod, chown, sudo, and sticky bit, but this fails. The only thing I see...

In other words, any character that is a word character in any locale should be allowed. This check: preg_match("/^*$/", $_GET); in which the $_GET variable contains an...

Ok, I've registered all the right headers to send, with header( 'Content-Type: .../...') etc. The next thing to do is exec a program that will be producing the actual content. The content MUST begin immediately after the headers (that is, after the single empty line that separates the headers from the body). PHP won't seem to send the...

On one of my sites, I have a TCL CGI script that has a security hole in spite of it having effective server-side validation (the fact that it's CGI IS its security hole). The front end is a PHP script, and I am writing server-side validation onto it, however, it is required to redirect to the TCL CGI script because only a CGI script has the...

Hello, Currently all of my php pages use SSL, not just my initial login. Originally I thought this would be more secure, but after thinking about things and looking at sites like Amazon and Gmail, they all SSL the login scripts and then use regular http for everything else, which I'm sure speeds things up without the encrypt/decrypt...
