I'm trying to turn off open_basedir, and according to php.info, I've
managed to do that in the master value column, by editing the php.ini
file.
But it's still on as local value for several domains, and I don't know
where turn it off.
does anyone?

That didn't seem to work. Here's the configuration for that domain:
Options ExecCGI FollowSymLinks Includes MultiViews
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
AcceptPathInfo On
php_admin_value open_basedir "none"
I also tried "php_admin_valu e open_basedir none" (without the quotes).

Okay, I've tried a bunch of things on this one and can't figure it
out.
The line in my phpinfo:
open_basedir /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/subdomains/intranet/httpdocs:/
tmp no value
Why would I get a "Warning: move_uploaded_file(): open_basedir
restriction in effect." error message if I've used SSH to set the
Master open_basedir value to "no value" (as evidenced by phpinfo)?

I want to browse my aspnet application on my dev box which has a local I/P
192.168.1.1 and it is connected to my rounter that has my real external IP
of say 200.200.200.200. If I browse the external IP I can't find my site.
How can I configure my local machines so that they can be browsed externally
