How to get perl to execute in windows vbs

I am a Unix based perl programmer but I need to be able to run perl scripts in Windows XP. I cannot get perl to execute other than at shell windows level. I would like to execute a perl script from a .vbs script in XP

Based on the limited info that you've provided, I'd say that your problem is within your vbs script. You need to provide more details and most likely post your question on a vbs forum.
