Perl: Unable to configure a device from HTTP page using perl

2
can anyone tell me how can i configure a device from HTTP page using perl ?

I am using following cmd to enter the http page
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. use HTTP::Request;
  2. $req = HTTP::Request->new($httpRequestMethod => "http://192.168.1.1/");
  3. sleep 10;
  4. $req->authorization_basic("admin","password");
  5. sleep 10;
How can i change values on that page ? will print statement work or is there any other way to do that ?
