SFTP within window servers

I need to SFTP the files from one Windows 2003 Server (primary) to another Windows 2003 server(secondary) using the perl scripts.

Can anyone guide me on this please.

I downloaded the SFTP module for ActiveState Perl from CPAN site, problem is - it is dependent on many others modules!

1.Do i need to download all the modules and install them?
2.Are there any other packages availablefor this SFTP functionality?

3.I've downloaded all the dependent modules i'm facing problems in installing the Math Pari module as it requires some GP/PARI to be present? Is there any other easier way to install the Math Pari module, in case i have installed the GP/PARI from the exe for windows version?

OR

Can anyone think of alternate for SFTPing the files?

Hi Bir,

I have not had the need to use SFTP yet. However, it appears that there are two major modules that support this functionality:

cpan Net::SSH2::SFTP of the cpan Net::SSH2 Package
cpan Net::SFTP

Of those two, I would personally try Net::SSH2::SFTP first as it has been updated more recently, and supports the large SSH2 protocols.

You will have to install all dependent modules. However if you install using the ppm of ActiveState, it should be able to do this for you.
