win32 adodb/mdb; con.execute returns undef and not recordset.

hi,

I have been using a micro$oft mdb with adodb in win32 perl.
the problem lately discovred is not ready to get solved.

i need to check duplicate and i do a count(*) before insert.
what happenbs is count(*) return undef.

it was working perfectly earlier and did a lot of work good.
but now it does not even run.

i check ms and though memo fields are causing database currupting.
i tried fresh db and even that did no help.

the system where this program runs in remote. i can't do much there
except send exe/db and ask to execute it.

please help,
vikas yadav,
