How to access forms < id > using Win32::IE::Mech anize->new( )

5 New Member
Hello All,

How do we access form using Win32::IE::Mech anize->new( ) ?
I know we have a method

$mech->form_name('"na me") .But what if the form has only the 'id' attribute and no name attribute,

In this case how do we access the form through Win32::IE::Mech anize->new()

Kindly reply

If the form does not have name, you can make use of form_number() method.
This recognizes a form by its number(though not 'id'). The forms in the current page will be numbered from 1 onwards.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. $mech ->form_number($number);
  2.
Check this for info.

I am having an issue with understanding something in the WWW::Mechanize module. I have a website which I want to download a whole plethora of pdf files from. It is a site that I have paid to access and it is perfectly legal for me to download them, but there are FAR too many files to download by hand so I want to automate the process. The problem is, is that the site has a login page (see http://stampalbums.com/worldwide_list.asp). I was...

I'm pretty new to Python and I've been searching all over the place to find a solution for this. I have a html page with some javascript in it and I need to load this page in my own window (which I will create using PythonWin). The reason for this is to have capability to control the window properties and at the same time have access to click on the "submit" buttons in the webpage

Hi y'all! I'm new at perl, and I'm trying to automate a file fetch. And clicking 'save' gives me the file I want. I would like to achieve the same result automatically, without having to paste the url into a browser and click 'save' a specify where to save my...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
