My attempt to read the view creation code stored in the Oracle data
dictionary has encountered a problem. The view code appears to be
getting cut off at the end. What have I to do resolve this problem?

Read the SQL*Plus users guide to determine the correct settings.

(hint: the guide is at http://docs.oracle.com)


I think Hans could have given you more of a hint. See SET command in
the SQLPlus Guide. Also notice the datatype of the column you are
trying to display.
