Forms 9i - LOV icon doesn't show up. Does anyone know why?

In 6i, if there was an LOV on an item and the user entered the field,
a box with 3 dots popped up. It seems this does not happen in 9i.

Does anyone know why? And how to make that happen?

Thanks in advance

In 6i this is set in the file:

C:\orant6i\FORMS60\java\oracle\forms\registry\regi stry.dat

At the bottom of the file there is a parameter:

app.ui.lovButtons=false

Set this to equal true. I assume this is the same in 9i Forms as 9i
basically is 6i with a new look for the builder.
