Move BLOB partitions to a different tablespace

I've a table which has a number & a blob column, both of which are NOT
NULL type. This table is composite partitioned using range & hash on
the same column.
Each partition is sub partitioned into two.

Now if I try to move the partitions to a different tablespace I get an
oracle error sayiing that ERROR: ORA_14257 cannot move partition other
than a Range or Hash partition

Now is there any other way to move the partition to another
tablespace. Here is the code
CREATE TABLE temp1
(
col1 INTEGER NOT NULL ,
col2 BLOB NOT NULL
)
TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
(
DISABLE STORAGE IN ROW
PCTVERSION 10
NOCACHE
)
NOPARALLEL
NOCACHE
PARTITION BY RANGE (col1)
SUBPARTITION BY HASH (col1)
(
PARTITION p1 VALUES LESS THAN (10)
TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
(
TABLESPACE space
PCTVERSION 10
NOCACHE
)
(
SUBPARTITION sp1 TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
( TABLESPACE space )
,SUBPARTITION sp2 TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
( TABLESPACE space )
)
,PARTITION p2 VALUES LESS THAN (20)
TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
(
TABLESPACE space
PCTVERSION 10
NOCACHE
)
(
SUBPARTITION sp3 TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
( TABLESPACE space )
,SUBPARTITION sp4 TABLESPACE space
LOB (col2) STORE AS
( TABLESPACE space )
)
);

This post has two parts. First is my feedback on sets. (Hello? Last summer called, they want their discussion thread back...) Second is some questions about my implementation of a partition function for sets. Hi, could somebody please explain why the following statement consumes six extents: CREATE TABLE T1 (C1 INT, C2 BLOB(1K)) IN TS1 I see one extent for the extent map and one extend for data pages. How many extents does this BLOB thing need? Thanks in advance.

Is there anyway to display the partition number while taking snapshot on all the partitions (-2) using the snapshot function? ex, select TABLESPACE_NAME, TOTAL_PAGES from table(SNAPSHOT_TBS_CFG ( ' ', -2 )) as snap. Is there anyway, I can get the partition number for which the data is being retrieved?.

How to accomplish a tablespace move from 32K to 4K page size on AIX 5.2, DB2 UDB 8.2? Enable forward recovery, take 32K tablespace backup, drop 32K tablespace, create 4K tablespace, restore to 4K tablespace from the backup, reset back to circular logging. Would this work?

I am having my first experience using BLOB as a row in a table. I am using it to insert graphics for labels we print. I have no problem inserting into and select from the table. The graphic is being stored correctly. Whenever I attempt to delete a row from my application I get the following error. SQL0911N The current transaction has been rolled back because of a deadlock or timeout. Reason code "68". SQLSTATE=40001

Hi All, I'm working on DB2 UDB 8.2 with Fixpack 10 on Windows 2000 Server. The problem I'm facing is that I have created a table having BLOB type column with NOT LOGGED option. (see script below) CREATE TABLE ATTACHMENTS ( CASEATTACHMENTID INTEGER NOT NULL,

Hi folks, we have 3 instances where a table space (good old SMS) lives in the wrong directory. Normally I simply would create a new one and do a INSERT ... SELECT for all tables (or a load ... from cursor). But we have different tables in the table space and I want to use the same "script" for all instances. So I had a look at db2relocate, which should do the trick. I have the following plan to do this: 0) backup -- always good

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
