I am writing a trigger for delete event of employee table (PK - empno, Mrgid - Self referencing key ) in oracle .In the trigger , i wish to update the rows of the same table which have mgr id equal to the empno being deleted, and set the mgrid=null. The problem coming here is of Mutating table.Is there a simple workaround of this problem?

in Enterpise Manager lacking.
Using Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer you can maintain the
triggers, but it's cumbersome.

I'm trying to generate scrips for a database, and everything so far has
worked fine, except for the triggers. When I try and script existing
triggers, all I get is a blank file - no SQL script. I tried single
files for each object, all in one file, triggers only, the entire
database. I can't figure it out, but I know the triggers are there.
Any suggestions, or am I missing something undocumented in SQL-Server
2000?

Are there DDL triggers in DB2?
By DDL triggers I mean the triggers which can be fired on ALTER, DELETE,
DROP, GRANT and REVOKE commands.
Such triggers are there in Oracle and SQL Server. I was hoping that they
are in DB2 as well. But till now couldn’t find any.
