Try:

1- Shutdown
2- Rename or delete the existing control files
3- startup nomount
4-

create controlfile set database new
datafile 'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\system0 1.dbf',
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\temp01. dbf',
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\rbs01.d bf',
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\indx01. dbf',
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\tools01 .dbf',
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\dr01.db f',
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\users01 .dbf'
logfile 'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\redo01. log' size 1M,
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\redo02. log' size 1M,
'e:\ORacle\orad ata\new\redo03. log' size 1M

(note that in your case you should not use "reuse" and "resetlogs" ).

5- Alter database open.

After following Microsofts admonition to reformat my system before doing a final compilation of my app I got many warnings/errors upon compiling an rtf file created in word. I used the Help Workshop program: hcw.exe that's included with Visual Basic. This exact same file compiled perfectly with no notes, warnings or errors prior to reformatting my system. Prior to the reformatting, I copied the help.rtf file onto a CD and checked the box to...

I will mention here all the steps that I done while creating and installing setups. Result: Case 1: worked fine. ...

Again, I'm new to VB.net and there is something I need help with: Like (I assume) many of us, over time I want to be able to create some VB.net classes that I might want to use in more than one Project. So let's say I've created a Folder called "MyVBNet Classes" to hold these general-use VB.Net class files that I will eventually associate with various Projects I create. Now let's imagine I've created a class called "MyClass.vb" that...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
