wireless antena on laptop

hello i have a fujitsu-siemens amilo laptop , my laptop has its on a wireless pci card which i turn on-off from a button the problem is that the signal is too low when i try to connect to othes wireless networks in the area. i thought if i could implement an antena on my laptop or maybe an other way so to have a sutisfied signal... any idea????

To answer, we'll have to know the model number of that wireless PCI card. You can connect antennas to most cards in some way, however you may have to open the laptop to do so, which of course would end the warranty.

The alternative would be to buy a wireless adapter of some kind (USB, PCMCIA, PCI Express...) which has an antenna connection.
