Shared Network Speeds Slow

Hello

I need a very simple question answered if anyone could please help :)

After moving office locations, our shared network connection (attached to old building where employees still use the network) is running extremely slow, can anyone tell me how to disgnose the problem, and/or find out the current run speeds at the new office location?

Thanks!!!!!

I would recommend having your local network engineer diagram the layout and current hardware being used in your new location, making sure that all can support the speed you are desiring, as well as the equipment used to create the shared connection.

If you go to your old location, is the speed still slowed? When did the slowdown occur?

Hi there

I did as you suggested and asked for a network path map, they were routing through NY to get to the other side of London, no wonder it was taking 8seconds!!

Thanks so much!
