A large number of tools are available to control bandwidth consumption. However, the best of them is Paessler PRTG Network Monitor, which helps you monitor and limit the bandwidth consumption of devices and applications. It also helps in controlling bandwidth consumption.

I've been using Paessler PRTG Network Monitor and I can say it's still a reliable app. By the way, guys, do you know an app I can scan all the metrics and convert them into pdf?

Hey there! I totally agree with you on Paessler PRTG Network Monitor, it's been a staple for me as well. As for your question, have you tried using https://smartengines.com/? It's an app that I use for scanning all kinds of metrics and it's been really helpful for me. Plus, it has the added bonus of converting everything into a pdf format for easy sharing and storage. Hope this helps!

I am trying to simulate devices connected to a residential home network using .NET, using c#. Can this be reasonably be achieved if for example a UDP Multicast message is used to initially seek out devices connected, where for example a computer is representing a 'connected device' such as a toaster and in response to the multicast message the toaster responds declaring its status. In addition can a multicast group be simulated on a single...

I am working on some software which has to deal with data that could be as large as 500mb or so. Currently I am using new and delete to manage this memory but I find it is not ideal and sometimes gives out of memory errors if I open one large data item then free that data item then another large data item even though I have enough memory (including 2GB of physical RAM and 100GB of free disk space for swap file). Are there any functions...

Hi all gurus. This' drivin' me nut: I've already posted this in dotnetframework.setup, having overlooked NG name. Excuse me. I installed Sony EyeToy in my Pc, and grabbing some code on-line, I'm able to see video in a PictureBox (well, not exactly so), have a frame captured into an avi file, but I've not been able to have image saved to a jpg file. Well, I saw that actually video isn't shown in PictureBox, 'cause calling WDM causes...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
