connectivity between 2k3 and winxp

sir , in my office a 1800 series router which is connected through 2k3 server .and all computer are connected with this server through switch.and all client are in win xp. now a days i want to make connectivity between server to client. while i installed active directory in 2k3.so please give the information to make the server client network in my office.

I have no idea what you are asking for. The server should be up while you're running 'dcpromo' unless it requires a restart (I haven't done it in a while, so I don't remember).

Are you looking for how to install AD, or some other connectivity issue before/after?

sir, i want to make a network.while now a days i make a server to a client pc for providing internet connection to all other client. now i want to make connectivity through a another real server with 2k3 & client with win xp. while now all client are member of work group so how can we make our network while 1800 series router, switch are available.

so please tell me..

Once again, you're not presenting the end goal in a clear fashion.

You don't have to do anything with a domain or the Windows 2k3 software to do what you want (I think).

Why not just set up filesharing on the device you want, and allow members from your workgroup?

sir, according to my company rule this is essential that all computer are connected with 2k3 server for file and software sharing.my work will be at the end of day to take a backup for every client work through this server.and my aim is to provide internet to all client.
sir, please understand my problem and give the solution.
