Any examples out there?

Hello,

I have been trying to perform some research on using a .xml file and
feeding a table, allowing the table to be edited and then sent back to
the server.

Something like this link:
http://www.w3schools.com/xml/tryit.a...catalog_island

except instead of processing a change in HTML code to actually add,
remove and change items in the table listed to the right.

Is there an example somewhere out there for doing this? Is it bad to
use the table datasrc property? I have been reading that people should
use XSLT instead but this example works for IE 5.0 and higher (I
thought that this version of IE was pretty old)

Regards.

Hi,
Is it bad to use the table datasrc property? I'd consider it bad because it isn't standard. I try to never use anything but W3C standards.
I have been reading that people should
use XSLT instead but this example works for IE 5.0 and higher.

*Other* browsers than IE do exist, most - all? - of which cannot handle 'datasrc'.

regards,

Hi! I read "How Python is developed" (comp.lang.python.announce), and think that there could be more examples in the docs. One think I really like to see: An example with mycmp(a, b)... in the documentation for sort(). I would add DSU (Decorate, sort, undecorate) there, too.

I am looking for documentation and code examples on DDML (Display Driver Management Level). It is mentioned in the 2000, XP and 2003 DDKs - but just barely. It has to do with mirroring a display from one PC to another (like pcAnywhere, Citrix, MS RDC and GoToMyPC does). In fact, MS included it specifically for this purpose...

Has anyone seen any COMPLETE bound form examples? By complete, I mean a form that has Add/Edit/Delete capabilities. Every example I've seen on the 'net, in books, and in the VB.Net Resource Kit discusses basic record navigation only. If there are no examples on the internet, maybe someone could recommend a good book that covers this subject...
