View Database Records.

Hi

suggest me, i want to view the stored information from the DB. How can i view the records. i know, i can view the records using Grid. But other than Grid, is we have anyother options to do this. if i using GridView or DataGrid. when i click edit button, it expand its textbox in Grid. i dont wnt to expand that. itz not seem to nice when it expand. So i need someother Option to view record.

I m Creating Web Application, it must also look good. if their is any options, Plz suggest me.
