error when clicking setup.exe after a build

I have been developing a piece of software for a while now, and have not had any problems with the setup.exe that is generated when I deploy my app.

Today, I deployed it and wanted to test the setup before I sent it to my client to install. I click it and about 1 second later I get a message box with a red X icon and an OK button...no message. Behind that is a messagebox that has the icon of a box with a cd in front of it..also no message on it. My program builds fine and I can even install it by clicking the <applicationname>.application file, but that isn't going to cut it with my boss. Anyone know of a way I can log the events that happen during a setup.exe process? I lookde in the event log and it generates error id : 10005 followed immediately by a 11078 (which is just informational).
