Prod server config VS 2005

Hi,

With Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET version 2, I published my web site, configured the obtained file as a web site with IIS.

On my development server, my web site perfectly works. When I copy my file and configure this file as a web site on the production server as I do on my development server, I can not launch the web site from Internet Explorer. I obtain a HTTP 500 error.

Where can I find the instructions in order to properly configure my web site on the production server ? Are there key configurations to look at ?

HOW could I have some logs to see what really happens in the back-ground ?
