can we have <asp:placeholder>in<asp:table>

Hi,
This bit of code throws error Expected End of statement at line1
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers

  2. <asp:TableRow id="T2r1">
  3. <asp:TableCell id="T2r1c1" Width="85%">
  4. <asp:PlaceHolder ID="PlaceHolder1" runat="server">Control Not Loaded</asp:PlaceHolder>

where line1 is actually
