Server Problems

Hey all,

I am a newbie in the C# world but i used to work on C on the daily basis on College. I know some of the basis of C# but not what i really need which is WinForms Networking.

I need to develop a Client Server Application where the information choosen in the client must be encrypted and then send it over the net to the server. Once the information gets to the server it needs to be confirmed to the client and also has to be decrypted and store in a database to show in a website application the stats of it.

So far Created the client and it is working because it gives me 2 different exceptions depending on what i do... when i unplug the network wire it tells me the host is unreachable and when i connect the computer to other with address specified it tells me that the conection has been refused.

The server however is freezing a lot and i don't think it is working. Can you folks help me with this. I am using TcpListener Class to create it.

I know to handle Databases with PHP but i have never done with C#, how should i start or where?

I can't post the codes now because i am not at my working computer but if it is needed please let me know and i sure will post it.
