Windows mail

I'm trying to set up windows mail to access my bellsouth account. Have set
it up like everything I've seen in suggestions. Am still getting error
message. I have McAfee but have disabled it. Don't know if that's enough.
This is the error message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.bellsouth.net',
Server: 'mail.bellsouth.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

You're in the wrong newsgroup.

This is a group for developers/programmers who develop in the Microsoft
technology called "DotNet'.

Try to find something with "windows" in the newsgroup name.

But probably, I'm guessing you dont need SSL for mail.bellsouth.net
Secure(SSL): Yes,
But post future questions in a more appropriate newsgroup please.
