Return selected in a Dropdownlistbox

P: 9
I am new to ASP.NET and C#.

I have populate a dropdownlistbox from a sqltable.
I would like to set the selected value in the dropdownlistbox
to an sql UPDATE command. like fx.

"UPDATE name = @name FROM Db WHERE id = @id";

so the selected value in the dropdownlistbox = @id;
My current code will only update the first id, but not the secound id 2 or more.

the only command in my dropdowntable are:
<asp:DropDownList ID="IDDropDownList" runat="server" Width="359px">
How can i do this?
