best architecture for designing a complex web application

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site and also to asp.net. I want to develop a web application framework for a web application in c#.I wanted to know which is the a better web application architecture.

You're question is extremely vague.

I'd suggest trying things on your own and figuring out what works for your specific application, then ask us questions on the problems you're having with that.

Yes Frinny i have checked the FrontController architecture in MSDN. But it is not making much sense. I got the basic idea. But i was on look out for a more clear example.If u know of any such resources,Please do give me links to those resources.

The article on MSDN explaining front controllers looks very complete to me.
It is full of examples and explanations of why and how to use them.

Are you sure that your project has the complexity that warrants using a Front Controller?

I have never used this design before but I have read through that article I sent you a link to. I'm not sure how to help you unless you point out what parts of the MSDN article that you don't understand.

I'd take a look at your application and really decide if you want to use the Front Controller. They are used for fairly complex systems and I get the impression your system won't need this.
