Compatibility issues installing a program under Vista 64

Hi,

I am running Vista Home Premium 64, and am trying to instal a game Supreme
Commander, however upon trying to run the setup.exe I get the following error:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you'r
running. Check you computer's system information to see whether you need an
x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the
software publisher.

However, I can run the disc and install fine with no problems what so ever
on another PC in the house with identical hardware and OS. I cant find the
difference between the two and why it wont work on this one.

Please Help
