problem in authentication mode

hi there,
i have done a web page project in visual studio 2003 with c#. it was working fine in that system. when i tried opening them in another system it was fine for some time. but now i get an authentication error in the line [color=#ff0000]<authentication mode="Windows" /> [/color]can u tell me how can i solve this authentication problem.

Whats the authentication u r using now ?

If u r not using any of the authentication mode, change the authentication mode to "NONE" in the web.config file.

i tried all the authentication modes but i still get the same problem. the same coding is not working in the old system also.
