Crystal report using c# and asp.net

hi,

i am using crystalreports in my project(asp.net and c#.net) .i am able to display complete data from the data base on to the report .but i want to filter the data depending on particular criteria what is the procedure i have to follow.

My report contains 10 fields Id,location,message,date,time,..so on now i am able to display the complete data i.e what ever the data exist in the database irespective of date or id .now i want to filter my data depending on date or id.
for that i want to add two text boxes on my webform and two check boxes corresponding ,when ever i check the checktbox related to date text box and i enter the date then i should get data fields related to that particular date only similarly if enter id in the other text box then ishould get the data related to that particular id on all dates on the report, this should be done at the run time .

Reddi,

Create a dataset depending on your criteria (.xsd files) and give it as the datasource of your crystal report.
