I have a set of XSD's that I would like to build some classes from. When I
run the xsd tool I get a warning that the following is not "legal":

<xsd:restriction base="xsd:string">

I have seen this construct in other XSD's so I am sure it is legal. How can
I get the xsd tool to not complain about using string as a base?

We'd have to see more of the schema in order to know what the problem is. It
would also help to have the error message.
