When web services go wrong...

Hi all,

I'm writing an essay on web services, and specifically their business
benefits.

So far I've found lots of nice examples online where web services have
done this and that, and helped to save £3m pounds, and brought an end
to global wars etc.

That's all well and good, but this essay can't be biased. I also need
examples where web services have caused a company problems, or where a
company has rejected them for some reason.

Does anyone know of any documented case studies or examples where web
services have really screwed things up for a company? Or where a
company has faced real difficulties with the technology?

Thanks,

Matt

Greg, appreciate the attempt - thanks.

Have you read that article though? And if so, do you honestly
understand it? To me, it just looks screenfuls of vague and vacuous
combinations of business and technical jargon.

All this kind of article does for me, is illustrate the sheer amount
of bullshit out there concerning web services.
