Hello,
(sorry for my English, it's not my native language...)
I am learning .NET 1.1. Some people suggested me installing .NET 2.0
instead. But a friend of mine told me that he uses .NET 2.0 and it has
conflicts with some Microsoft's software.
Could you tell me please: Is it true? (how to solve it?) Should I
start with NET 2.0?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Can you or your friend be a bit more specific about the alleged conflicts?
Which "Microsoft software"?
I have both .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 installed in support of Visual Studio
..NET 2003 and Visual Studio 2005 here, in addition to MS Office 2003, Visio
2003, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 and MS AntiSpyware. All on Win XP Pro
SP2.
I realize that's hardly an exhaustive list of Microsoft software, but I've
had no conflicts.
You don't say what development too(s) you're using, but an added incentive
to move to 2.0 is the *free* availability of the Express development tools.
