ows_FSObjType - what does it mean?

I'm attempting to write code that consumes the web services from sharepoint.
The SDK describes the method's clearly enough, but fails to describe the
meaning of the attributes returned. Where do I find these meanings?

For example, GetListItems returns things that are both folders and files.
I've noticed an attribute that looks like this:
ows_FSObjType="1;#0"
It would appear that #0 is a file and #1 is a folder, but why #1 and what is
the "1;" for?

Many of the other attributes also have this mysterious X;#value pattern
where X is some integer. What do they mean, why are they there?

You extracted it from a SOAP xml file and according to the MSDN library the
1 in "1;#0" stands for the item id and I'm assuming that the rest is a place
holder of somekind?

Could you post more of the xml file me like to figure out stuff :)
