port/rewrite application that uses DDE to .NET

GKM
Hi,
I have an application (VC++ 6.0) that uses DDE to communicate between
different processes in the application.
I want to port this application to .NET.

What is the recommended replacement for DDEs in .NET

thanks
Mahesh
