granting access based on domain and groups

I’m building a WinForms Remoting application and it needs to authenticate and
authorize users from two different domains, an active directory domain and an
NT4 domain. In the past, I’ve only had to use the Active Directory domain
and everything works great.

The server will be on the Active Directory domain. How can I do this? In
the past I’ve called the IsInRole method. I’m reading about trusts between
domains but I need some help. If anyone could give me some specific advice,
I’d really appreciate it.

I would like to have an idea about what is possible before I speak with the
domain administrators.

Thank you,
Jake
