I have recently set 5 XP Pro (2002) SP-1 machines up (using a cloning
process) to run the MS Visual Studio.NET 2002 environment. (Ver.
7.0.9466)
I can't get the Debugging function to work for the first user to try
running Studio.NET.
When they try to debug their program they get an error: " Unable to
start
debugging. Access is denied. Verify that you are an administrator or
a
member of the 'Debugger Users' group on the machine you are trying to
debug"
I have ensured all Studio.NET (2002) users are all members of the 'VS
Developers' and 'Debugger Users' group. (Their normal permissions are
that
of "Users."
I have also checked to see that the Machine Debug Manager service is
set
to automatic startup type, and that it is actually running.
Does anyone have any idea of what is wrong? (I am a sysadmin myself
...
not a programmer...)
