Omneon, sockets and compilation

mgf
I've developed a VC++.NET application with the Omneon video server and
sockets communication (client-listener).
This app works properly when it's executed from the IDE but there's a
problem with the .exe generated file. The listener part stops to
listen for unknow reasons in the second case. This could be a
compilation problem, a communication problem or someting related to
the Omneon component.

Is there any difference between executing a component from the IDE
(F5) or executing the .exe generated file? (Maybe accessing different
memory heaps...)

Thanks a lot in advance,
Chema.
